Recent Mag Coverage of Dean Parsons and Ben Smith.

Got some scans of Dean and Ben's recent coverage to stoke your eyeballs into hitting up your local skatshops and newsagents for inspiration. Ben Smith has followed up his Lore ad in Slam 164 with a sick New Gen in Slam 165, and Dean has this sick photo of an ollie along with his recent Lore ad in the latest Fuknoath, as well as the bs bigspin in Slam 165 from the Krew tour article. I have also been trying to update the blog page with as many good random clips as I can find from the vastness that is the internet. So get looking!

Bucky's Bussleton Bangers
Posted by: admin at 2010-01-27 21:37:56

Bucky was kind enough to film a bunch of stuff at the skatepark demo and following session at the ghetto halfpipe in Bussleton on Sunday. A great day was had by all, a big thanks to Hillzeez and everyone that turned up on the day.

2010 so far.

Hope that 2010 is treating everyone well. We are getting stoked for a bunch of stuff this (kinda) long weekend - there is a comp that Hillzeez, Folklore, Zero and Fallen are sponsoring in Bussleton (WA) on Sunday and Josh McMurray, Dylan Tomlinson, myself and others will be coming down to do a demo and check out the local rippers, and there is obviously our annual Australia Day comp at Riverslide in Melbourne on Tuesday, with $1000 in cash prizes to be won on the day.

Our Tassie rider Ben Smith is killing it at the moment, with his recent addition to Vox footwear being followed up by his Lore ad in the Current issue of Slam and a New Gen in the next issue of Slam being dropped next week. Keep your eyes peeled for that.

Brett Jordan recently updated his blog with some goodness of Folklore teamriders Snapper and Sam Owbridge including this sick sequence of Sam. Make sure to check http://straightouttarosebud.com/ regularly for more documentaion of shredding in that part of the world.

The Folklore Australia Day Comp is back again!

Together with the "Y" at Riverslide skatepark at Melbourne we have been putting this comp on for several years now (5?) and it always gets a good turnout and some great skating invariably goes down. There will be best trick/jam comps on five different sections of the park with $1000 in total to be handed out to peeps who are ripping. So whether you tear up tranny or have a big bag of block tricks on lock, or just want to check out some sick skating, head down to Riverslide on Tuesday the 26th to be part of the fun.

Festive Folklore
Posted by: admin at 2009-12-22 21:57:03

I'm gonna be off work until the start of next year so I just want to wish all our retailers and customers a fantastic festive season. Make sure you peep the new issue of the Skateboarder's Journal over christmas as Folklord Ben Smith has a great ad welcoming him to the Vox footwear team as well as a sick photo in the gallery section. I have also been going hard posting sweet clips from the world wide internerd on the blog page to provide some inspiration going into 2010 so go and have a look.
